Discover the beauty of volcanic glass in this hands-on workshop. The class begins with a tutorial covering the cutting obsidian to capture “flash”, tool selection, shaping techniques, grinding, sanding, and polishing methods.
After the demonstration, you'll move into a guided workshop where you can choose your own project and work at your own pace. Whether you want to create a heart, freeform sculpture, worry stone, or another unique design, you'll receive individualized instruction and one-on-one guidance tailored to your project and skill level.
Obsidian material is provided or bring your own, and all experience levels are welcome. Bring your ideas and leave with a beautiful, hand-crafted piece of polished obsidian.
